77th Independence Day celebrations at NFC

Hyderabad, August 15:-(Telangana Express State Bureau)Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC) celebrated 77th Independence Day on Tuesday. NFC Senior Officials, Employees, Students, Parents, Teachers and Principals of Atomic Energy Central Schools, Members of Union & Associations, CISF Staff attended the function in large numbers. Dr. Komal Kapur, Chairman, Chief Executive, NFC Pavilion, Hyderabad unveiled the national flag. He explained the major achievements of NFC. He said that NFC has achieved self-reliance in energy production and has developed into a versatile company.
NFC’s recent developments include indigenization of various types of equipment, development of state-of-the-art automation in manufacturing, inspection system, manufacture and supply of special tubes for strategic applications for the Department of Atomic Energy. He also mentioned the achievements of students of AEC schools in Hyderabad. They are motivated by giving awards for their exemplary performance. The event featured patriotic dances, song performances by students of EC schools in Hyderabad, a mesmerizing parade, and performances by NFC and CISF fire service personnel.
